This Privacy Policy explains how HireToolX, operated by Mukesh Yadav in India, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, account, career tools, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, profile image, user ID, and authentication details provided through our sign-in service.
Payment information: order ID, payment status, amount, and contact details needed to verify your purchase. Cashfree processes payment credentials; we do not store your full card, bank, or UPI credentials.
Career content: resumes, job descriptions, work history, skills, prompts, generated outputs, and saved tool history that you choose to submit.
Support information: messages, order details, and attachments you send when requesting help.
Technical information: browser and device information, IP address, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security events, cookies, and similar local-storage data.

2. How We Use Information

To create and secure your account, authenticate you, and maintain your session.
To process and verify payments, activate your Access Pass, and prevent fraud.
To provide the requested tools, generate outputs, save history, and improve reliability.
To answer support requests and send important service or transaction messages.
To enforce our terms, investigate misuse, comply with law, and protect users and the Service.

3. AI Processing

When you use an AI-powered feature, the information entered for that feature may be sent to an AI service provider, including OpenAI, to generate the requested output. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.

4. Browser Extension (HireToolX Companion)

Our optional Chrome extension is a companion to the Auto-Apply tool in your dashboard. If you install it and connect it to your account:

Session: the dashboard hands the extension a Firebase refresh token once, over a same-origin message, so the extension acts as you when reading and writing your own Firestore data. It never sees your password.
LinkedIn pages: the extension reads the LinkedIn profile, job listing, and application-form information visible in a supported tab only when needed for profile analysis, saving a job or contact, or running the Easy Apply workflow you configured.
AI-assisted applications: when an application question needs AI assistance, the question, available answer choices, relevant job details, and your configured career preferences may be sent securely to HireToolX and processed by OpenAI. The in-panel LinkedIn completeness score itself runs locally in the extension.
What is stored: your session token, connection state, daily application count, recent profile capture, and pending jobs or contacts you explicitly save are kept in Chrome's local extension storage. Preferences and application activity are stored in your HireToolX account using Google Firebase.
Other job sites: Super Search only opens search-result URLs that you request on selected job sites. The extension does not inject scripts into or read those sites.
What we don't do: the extension does not sell browsing data, use it for advertising, track browsing outside LinkedIn and the HireToolX dashboard, or collect unrelated browsing history.

Automating applications may be subject to each job portal's own terms of service; you are responsible for how you configure and use this feature.

5. Service Providers & Sharing

We may share information only as needed with service providers that help operate HireToolX, including:

Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, hosting, functions, and infrastructure.
Cashfree Payments for checkout, payment processing, verification, and fraud prevention.
OpenAI for AI-assisted generation where an AI feature is used.
Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent harm, or protect legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information. Service providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

HireToolX's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

HireToolX and its providers use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, secure the Service, and understand technical performance. Blocking essential storage may prevent account features from working correctly.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and career content while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Payment, security, and transaction records may be retained longer where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

8. Your Choices & Requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@hiretoolx.in from your registered email address. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or transaction-record purposes.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a secure account and avoid submitting information that is not needed for a tool.

10. Children's Privacy

HireToolX is intended for job seekers and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

11. International Processing

Our providers may process information in India or other countries where they operate. Their data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. The updated date above shows when the latest version took effect.
